Dietitians Week 2020
2020 EuDAP Report / by admin / 917 views / Popular
Dietitians Week 2020 took place from June 1-5. Dietitians Week is our annual celebration of dietitians and those that work to support them. For Dietitians Week 2020 we again focused on #WhatDietitiansDo – looking to explain the variety within the wider dietetic profession, and making the case for more investment in dietetic services.
As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic face-to-face events and meetings were impossible for Dietitians Week 2020, but that didn’t stop us celebrating on social media. Find more information about COVID-19 guidance here.
See more about what we did during the week below. We’ll be adding some of our favourite pictures from across the week and statistics soon.

Social Media statistics
Althought this was a highly unusual Dietitians Week, we still achieved some great reach with the campaign. The BDA’s own #DietitiansWeek posts had over 500,000 engagements across the week, with engagement and reach strong on all our social media platforms.
We’ll have further analysis of the use of the #DietitiansWeek and #WhatDietitiansDo hashtags soon.
